HOW ARE BABY HAND CASTS MADE ?

 

Using a simple and quick clay moulding technique, we use very soft clay to take the precious impression of a hand or foot.  The child’s or adult’s hand or foot is pressed into the soft terra cotta clay,; the process is pain-free and over in a matter of seconds and is often lots of fun!

How long does it take to take a baby hand or foot cast ?

Approx 15 mins.

Are the casting materials harmful to my baby ?

As with all of our materials, we can ensure you that the clay is not harmful in any way.  Babies, toddlers and adults are often surprised at how quick the process is.
